CRIME update for May 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Hyson Green Police beat area during the month of May.
Burglaries residential = 2 06/05 Terrace Street – PlayStation 5 stolen. 11/05 Pleasant Row – Attempt break via front door, spooked by occupant and left.
Criminal damage = 7 20/05 Southport Terrace – Bin thrown at vehicle causing damage. 21/05 Noel Street – Male and female fighting in the street, dog lead has hit the bonnet of vehicle causing damage to paintwork. 23/05 Cantabury Avenue – Living room windows smashed overnight 24/05 Bobbers Mill Road – Scratch to vehicle caused by bike. 25/05 Ashwell Gardens – Vehicle damaged overnight, crack to windscreen. 27/05 Nuthall Road – 2x juveniles attempt to steal motorbike, stopped by a third party and they then smash the back window of third-party vehicle. 28/05 Gregory Boulevard – Male has jumped on top of vehicle, smashing rear windscreen of the vehicle and cracking the front.
Theft of motor vehicle = 1 27/05 Nuthall Road – 2x juveniles attempt to steal motorbike before being stopped halfway through.
Theft from vehicle = 2 19/05 Oakland Street – Between 10pm and 1am, vehicle broken into and bank card, air pods and cash been stolen. 20/05 Carver Street – At 9am, mobile phone stolen from unlocked vehicle by group of people wearing balaclavas.
